Backend engineering for a growing second-hand fashion e-commerce platform — distributed services, pricing and discount logic, service integrations, and developer tooling. December 2025 — Present.

Remix Global (Remix Second Hand) is a Bulgarian e-commerce platform specialising in second-hand fashion. As part of the backend team, I work on the core platform infrastructure serving thousands of daily transactions across a multi-service architecture running in containerized environments on AWS.

Proposed and led the modular rewrite of a legacy discount engine — event-driven, observable, and safe to migrate incrementally. Built CLI tooling that eliminated manual service scaffolding. Integrated the Tidio chatbot backend for order lookup.

Backend architecture and API design for core e-commerce flows, with a focus on the pricing ecosystem — pricing and domain logic and dynamic discount services. Building and maintaining distributed services in PHP/Laravel, Go and NestJS. Event-driven architecture with RabbitMQ, persistence and caching with PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis, and service-to-service integrations across the platform. Production reliability and observability for the services in my area. Developer tooling and CLI scaffolding for standardised service creation. Cross-functional technical collaboration across product and platform teams.
