Just Eat Takeaway is one of Europe's leading food delivery marketplaces, operating across multiple countries with millions of daily orders. The engineering organisation is large, distributed, and domain-driven — requiring backend engineers who can work independently while remaining aligned across complex system boundaries.

Five years of consistent delivery in a complex, high-traffic distributed system serving multiple international markets. Built deep expertise in .NET backend engineering, domain-driven design, and operating cloud-native services on AWS. Worked across the full lifecycle — design, implementation, observability, production support, and on-call ownership.

Backend development across multiple product domains including restaurant operations, regular and exceptional working-hour flows, and platform infrastructure. Building and running business-critical services in C# / .NET, Java / Spring Boot, and PHP / Laravel. Event-driven architecture with Kafka, AWS SQS / SNS and RabbitMQ, with DynamoDB and SQL databases for persistence. Infrastructure work with Kubernetes and Helm on AWS. Collaborating across cross-functional, distributed teams.
